About Riki

Riki Wilchins is the founding Executive Director GenderPAC and author of “Read My Lips,” “GenderQueer,” and “Queer Theory/Gender Theory,” She has spoken and performed at colleges all over the U.S. Riki’s work has been profile in The New York Times, and in 2001 TIME Magazine selected her as one of “100 Civic Innovators for the 21st Century.” Her writing has appeared in publications like Social Text, Village Voice, Curve, The Advocate as well as anthologies like Women on Women, Pomosexuals, Out at Work, Feminist Frontiers, Language Awareness, and the Encyclopedia of Identity.
